Glute Bridge


The Glutes or Butt muscles are the most important muscles in the golf swing.  They give you power, strength, and stability.  This is the first exercise to begin strengthening them.

  1. Lay on your back with your arms at your side and your knees up.
  2. Slowly raise your body up by using your glutes.  (This may be difficult at first, but if you squeeze your glutes while doing the exercise, you will engage them and they will get stronger)
  3. Slowly lower your body to the starting position and repeat.
  4. Perform 2 sets of 10 repetitions.
