Originally based out of Cape Coral, Florida, Michael is dedicated to helping people from all walks of life to look and feel their best, while developing a healthy lifestyle and preventing illness and disease. Michael began his journey right here in SW Florida. Growing up in Cape Coral, he enjoyed athletics and played all sports, especially baseball. He went on to the University of Florida to pursue a career in aerospace engineering hoping one day to be an astronaut.
However, in Michael’s sophomore year he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Unable to be an astronaut, Michael found his true calling and graduated from the University of Florida, with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. Over the last 30 years, he has developed his skills and knowledge to become an expert in fitness, nutrition, diabetes and overall health with a passion to help others improve their quality of life. With hundreds of clients that Michael has coached, he is a firm believer that everyone can improve their quality of life by learning more about nutrition and fitness. Michael strives to provide the most current and relevant information to his clientele and implement programs that are tailor-made for each individual, whether they are young or older, men or women, beginners or advanced. All that is expected of those who work with Michael, is that they have a goal to reach, and they are committed and passionate about achieving it.
Michael is now bringing his passion and desire to help people, once and for all, achieve their health and fitness goals to The Matlacha Wellness Center!
